YOUTH MINISTRY

Wisdom & Life’s Youth ministry, Youth on Fire (YOF), is for youth and young adults to come and learn the practical application of walking a Godly life; using the WORD of God as the pathway to guide each step. Its objective is to engage youth and young adults in their spiritual journey, their church, their community, while building a support network.

Through our thematic structure, YOF has created a safe environment offering a platform for open discussions about current issues, learn new skills, and opportunities to explore other cultures and schools of thought while keeping Jesus at the centre.

Friday night themes are broken into 4 categories: Bible, Explorations, Real Talk and Connect .

Giving Tuesday is an International Day of Charity, dedicated to doing good and giving back in whatever way you can. Whether by donating money, food, or objects, or even volunteering your time. This Giving Tuesday, Youth on Fire aims to raise $3,000 and we are committed to donating 50% of all proceeds to the Montreal Children's Hospital - Healthy Kids Fund. This contribution will provide the hospital means to better help their young patients get the care they need, support families who struggle financially and meet other objectives aimed at responding to their mission’s urgent needs.

The remaining proceeds will go towards Youth Excellence Fund, a fund created to help support youth who are excelling in the area of academics, athletics and the arts.

Bible

An opportunity to delve into the word of God highlighting the relevance this weapon. A well as its practical application.

Explorations

Exploration night is meant teach youth about different cultures, religion, places and nations. At times, we will take a trip to various centres to gain a better understanding of the world around us.

Real Talk

Addressing the question and worries of today’s youth, this theme offers a forum for conversation about issues in a safe, confidential and nonjudgmental space.
